Coach Pomroy begins her third season as an assistant coach with the Wildcat softball team in 2013. As a former Wildcat student-athlete, Pomroy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Wildcat coaching staff. 
In the fall of 2012, Pomroy was inducted into the the St. Catherine University Athletics Hall of Fame after a standout career with the Wildcat softball team. She was a three-year captain and earned Minnesota Intercolleigate Athletic Conference (MIAC) All-Conference honors in 2003, 2004, and 2005. 
As a member of the Wildcat softball team, she helped lead the 2005 team to program history with the first 20-win season. Pomroy held four top-five hitting stats in the MIAC by her senior year (.746 slugging percentage, 40 RBIs, eight homeruns and 83 total bases).  She was ranked 14th in the NCAA for her season-high 40 RBIs and currently holds four career records for the Wildcats with 149 hits , 35 doubles , 17 triples and 82 RBIs.
Pomroy graduated from St. Catherine in 2005. She majored in accounting and minored in American Sign Language (ASL). She was honored with the Abigail Quigley McCarthy Award, the Outstanding Senior in Business Award and the prestigious Dean of Student’s Award. 
Since graduating, Pomroy served as treasurer of the St. Catherine Alumni Association from 2006-2008. She is also a Certified Public Account (CPA) at Ameriprise Financial, Inc., in the Twin Cities.
