Meggan Staton

    Assistant Softball Coach
Staton begins her second season in 2016 as the team's pitching coach. In 2015, she helped first-year Krista Flugstad set numerous school records and earn MIAC Rookie-of-the-Year honors.

Prior to joining the Wildcat staff, Staton was an assistant coach at North St. Paul High School, Hamline University and 
Roseville High School. Staton was also a head high school coach at Fridley High School from 2008-2010.  Currently, she coaches for the Minnesota Force Softball Club.  Staton also works with numerous youth pitchers to develop skills, mechanics and understanding of the mental side of the game for Minnesota Fastpitch Academy in Roseville, Minnesota. 
 
Staton earned her bachelors degree in sports management and marketing from St. Cloud State University where she pitched and played first base for the Huskies.
