Biography

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: teammates turn into lifetime friends and family. Coaches care about our success on the field and in the classroom. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I love that I have the opportunity to play a sport I love in my free time while continuing to go to school. I also love that other sports teams come support us and come our games. Our coaches also understand school comes first. 

2014: The 2014 season will be Alyssa's final season in the outfield for the Wildcats. 

2013: As a junior, Alyssa earned her third All-MIAC honor, third NFCA Scholar Athelte honor, second Academic All-MIAC honor and was named to the MIAC All-Tournament Second Team. She led the Wildcats in hitting for the third-straight season with a batting average of .388, 116 at bats, 45 hits and 28 runs. She also posted a slugging percentage of .457, had 16 RBI and led the team with seven stolen bases. Her .400 average in conference games also ranked in the top-15 in hitting. 

2012: Alyssa had a successful year on the field, earning MIAC All-Conference for the second-consecutive season. She led the team with her .467 batting average and played a total of 38 games, starting 37. She had 16 RBI, 30 runs and 63 hits. Luedtke also had 78 total bases and a .578 slugging percentage. She recieved Academic All-Conference honors. She was also named the Wildcat Athlete of the Year.

2011: Luedtke was selected as the Rookie of the Year, earned MIAC All-Conference, and was on the second team All-Region. She also achieved the school record for batting average in a single season.

High School: Alyssa was a three time letter winner and served as a team captain. She was also involved with volleyball, basketball and track and field. In high school, Luedtke served as a Sunday school teacher.

Personal:  Alyssa is a Dean's List student and twice has earned Academic All-MIAC honors. She is also a three-time NFCA Scholar Athlete. Alyssa is a nursing major.
