2023-24: Smerillo competed for the Wildcats court and nationals teams helping the team to a 4th place finish at the USA Collegiate Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Nicole and Chris Smerillo. Psychology major, American Sign Language minor.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete. at St. Kate's? The support from the St. Kate’s community is a super cool thing to experience as a first time student-athlete. Also all of the athletics staff is always there to support us when we need anything!

I chose St. Catherine University because: St. Kate's has a well constructed ASL program that inspired me continue the language through college. While the program is what intrigued me, the location of the university is ideal for finding new things to do and opportunities for the future.
