Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC)
Since 1983, St. Catherine has been a member of the
Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), one of the strongest NCAA Division III conferences in the nation. The top MIAC teams are always nationally ranked and in the hunt at the NCAA Division III Championships.
The MIAC's 13 private colleges are all members of the NCAA Division III and annually attract many of the nation's top student-athletes. In the MIAC, athletes are students first, yet still, have the opportunity to reach any height to which their athletic talent can take them. MIAC institutions include the following:
