University of West Alabama

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: going to an all women's school has created such a positive environment, both in my academic career and out running on the trail. I couldn't have asked for a better school to go to. 

2012: Ariel has had a break out senior season so far, as she has had progressively better races at each meet. At the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite, she finished third for the Wildcats and set a PR time of 24:09.81, which was two minutes faster than her previous best. Her time is now seventh all-time at St. Kate's for 6k races. 

2011:  Ariel joined the cross country team for her first season in 2011. 

High School:  Ariel attended Willmar High School, where she was a four-year letter winner on the tennis team.  She was also involved with orchestra. 

Personal:  Ariel chose to come to St. Kate's because she loves the opportunity to be surrounded by strong women and learning that women can lead and influence in so many different ways.  Her family has been the biggest influence on her athletic career by always giving her positive support.   She is a Sociology major.
