Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: all the athletes get a long and are friends. It is a good challange to be a student athlete.Wildcats also have great team spirit and work hard in and out of the pool.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I love being around great people all the time. Student-athletes are the best students. I also enjoy having a team that becomes your family.
2013-14: The 2013-14 season will mark Lauren's final season as a member of the St. Catherine swimming and diving team.
2012-13: Lauren finished 16th at the MIAC Championships in the 200 Backstroke and competed in the 100 Backstroke, 50 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle Relay. She also had career-best swims in the 500 Freestyle and 200 Backstroke. Lauren is also on two top-10 lists at St. Kate's.
2011-2012: Lauren swam a career best time in the 100 free. She was also named to the Dean's List.
2010-2011: As a first-year, Lauren posted season best times in her three events, 100 & 200 back and also the 50 free, at the MIAC meet. Lauren also was awarded the MIAC Team Sportsmanship Award.
High School: She was a four-year letter winner at Richfield High School and was a team captain of her swim team. She earned All-Conference and honorable mention honors and was a state participant. She was also involved in synchronized swimming, winning a State Championship with the team. She continues to help coach synchronized swimming at Richfield High School.
Personal: Lauren is a dean's list student and a social work major.
