2011: Sophie is a first-year at St. Kate's

High School: Sophie attended Park Rapids High School. She participated in cross country, swimming, and track and field. She made four state appearances in track, one in swimming, and one in cross country. Along with athletics, Sophie was avid in speech at Park Rapids. She was a three-time state participant in speech and also participated in the state one act play festival.

Personal: Sophie credits her father, Nick, as the most influential person in her athletic career. Along with spending time together at her meets and competitions, Sophie and her dad spend Christmas together in the Caribbean every year. Sophie chose St. Kate's because of the welcoming and helpful community. She is a biology/pre-med major.
