Biography
2011-2012: Mary beings her final season with the Wildcats as a team captain.
2010-2011: As a junior, Mary placed 14th in the 200IM, 12th in the 100 backstroke, 8th place in the 200 backstroke, at the 2011 MIAC meet, posting career best times in both backstroke events. Mary was also voted for the team's Most Dedicated award.
2009-2010: As a sophomore, Mary had three Top 16 finishes placing 16th in the 200 IM, 15th in the 100 backstroke, and 12th in the 200 backstroke at the 2010 MIAC meet. She was also voted the team's Most Dedicated award winner.
2008-2009: As a first-year, Mary was given the team Most Inspirational Award and was a member of the school record setting 200 medley relay team.
High School: She came to St. Kate’s as a six-time letter winner at Forest Lake High School. She also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors three times, was a two-time State meet qualifier, a school record holder, and was Team MVP and Captain her senior year. In addition to her multiple swimming accomplishments, Mary was also named Valedictorian of her class.
Personal: Mary is a Chemistry major and is the daughter of Arnold Walters and the late Patricia Walters.
