Hannah Wetzel's Swimcloud Profile
2021-22: This is Wetzel's second season as a Wildcat. She had three entries at the MIAC Championship reaching the finals in the 200-yard butterfly. She recorded two season bests and a personal best at the meet.Â
2020-21:Â This will be Wetzel's first season with the Wildcats.Â
High School:Â 5x letter winner in swimming at Osseo High School earning All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2018 and Rookie of the Year in 2014. Wetzel was team captain in 2019 and was named team "mother hen" from 2015-2019. Outside of the pool, Wetzel was a member of National Honor Society, was a 4x academic letter winner, student ambassador, and was part of her schools Opportunities in Emergency Care program. She also earned the High Honors Award and Scholar Athlete Award in 2020.Â
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Connie Wetzel. Nursing Major.Â
I chose to attend St. Kate's because:Â they made me feel like every person belonged. On my visits, the faulty, students, and alumni showed how much they cared and supported our dreams.
What I enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's: I enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate’s is the relationships I have gotten to build not just with my teammates but with those in the community.
