Biography

One of the top middle blockers in the MIAC conference, Maria is a three-time St. Kate's team MVP. She has been named to the MIAC all-conference team twice (2007 and 2008)....Maria had 278 kills, 265 digs, and 75 blocks during her junior year....  Since becoming a Wildcat in 2006, Maria has had 868 kills, 619 digs, and 234 blocks... In high school Hoffman was named to the all-state team her senior year, was a four-time team MVP, a two-time all-conference award winner and a member of NHS....Maria says her dad has most influenced her athletic career because he has, "pushed me to succeed and keep my head up."....Maria is the fifth of six children born to Kevin and Rita Hoffman....She is majoring in Education.
