Biography

In the 2009 season Schmitz started 26 games. She hit .246, had 9 runs and 5 RBIs....In 2008 Schmitz played in 19 games for St. Kate’s. She scored 8 runs, had 2 RBIs and hit .143 in 28 at-bats. She was also named to the MIAC Academic All-Conference team….during the 2007 season she hit .278 in with 8 runs and 3 RBIs in 18 at-bats….At Rockford High School Ann was an all-conference volleyball, basketball and softball player. She was MVP of the basketball team and set the school record for service aces….Ann is the youngest of Mary and John’s four children….She is an Exercise and Sport Science/Pre-PT major.
