High School: Wells-Johnson was a letter winner in track and field, volleyball and basketball and was captain of all three teams at Harding High School. She was all-conference in track three-times and named the school's most outstanding female athlete. Wells-Johnson was a two-time all-conference honorable mention selection in basketball and earned the same honor in volleyball. She was also an honor roll student and a member of BigBrothersBigSisters.
Personal: Wells-Johnson chose St. Kate's because of the campus, it's proximity to home and the strong academic programs. She is a psychology major.
