High School: Thoemke was a three-sport athlete at Mahtomedi where she competed in basketball, soccer and track. She made a state appearance with the soccer team in 2013. As a senior, Thoemke was a track team captain and all-conference honorable mention. She was also an all-conference selection in 2011. Outside of sports, Thoemke was vice president of National Honor Society and was an honor roll student. She also was a member of the leadership council and FCA.
Personal: Thoemke chose to attend St. Kate's for the occupational therapy program and opportunity to compete on the track team. Thoemke is an exercise and sports science, pre-occupational therapy major and member of the Wildcat Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (WSAAC). She is also a new student orientation leader. She is the daughter of Dennis and Jeanna Thoemke.
