Biography
A three-time letter winner at SCU, Celest returns to the track and field team as captain for her senior year...During her junior season she set the St. Kate's school record in the 20-pound weight throw and earned MIAC All-Conference honors in that event. During her junior year Ventura also earned honorable mention honors in the discus throw....As a sophomore she set the Wildcats school record in the shot put (indoor) and was an NCAA Provisional Qualifier for the national meet in that event. During that season she earned her first MIAC All-Conference Honors…The oldest daughter of Renee Ventura, Celest is majoring in Nursing at St. Kate's.
