2017-18: As a sophomore, Gruett played in 24 games for the Wildcats and tallied 23 shots. 

2016-17: In her first season with the Wildcats, Gruett appeared in 25 games and tallied five points. She scored the first goal and had the first multi-goal performance of her collegiate career in St. Kate's 4-2 win over Finlandia on December 16. Gruett concluded the season with four goals and one assist.
