A three-time letter winner, Sami is a captain of the St. Kate's track and field team....During her junior year she earned MIAC Honorable Mention honors in the shot put  during both the indoor and outdoor season's. Larson ranks in the top five all time at St. Kate's in the indoor shot put and weight throw, and outdoor in the shot put, hammer throw and javelin....As a sophomore Larson finished eighth in the javelin throw at the MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships....Her first year at St. Kate's was her first year of ever competing in track and field, she qualified for the conference meet in the Javelin throw....At Sibley East High School she was an all-conference basketball and volleyball athlete....Her favorite athlete is Lindsay Whalen, and her favorite part about being a St. Kate's student-athlete is "being around my awesome teammates on a daily basis"....Sami has two younger sisters (Hannah and Allison) and is an Exercise and Sports Science major at St. Kate's.
