What do you enjoy most about being a student-athelte at St. Catherine?: It allows me to be more involved on campus.
2016: Thompson will begin her final season with the Wildcats in 2016.
2015: In 2015, Thompson recorded a PR time of 26:51 at the Seven Sisters Championship as a junior.
2014: As a sophomore, Thompson had a PR at the MIAC Championships with a time of 28:13.
2013: In her first year as a Wildcat, Thompson had a PR time of 28:58 at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational.
High School: Thompson was a three-sport athlete and senior captain of cross country, track and field and nordic skiing at Osseo High School. She was named team MVP of the cross country team in 2011 and most reliable for nordic skiing for two seasons. Thompson earned all-conference honors in nordic and was honorable mention in 2012 for track and field. She also made the Osseo honor roll in the 800 meter run in 2011. Jenna was also a member of National Honor Society and was a member of the student leadership team.
Personal: Thompson chose St. Catherine because of its size, proximity to home, academic offerings and the opportunity to comepte in cross country. She is an exercise science and nutrition major, dean's list student and co-president of the nutrition and exercise science club and formerly served as secretary. Thompson is also a member of the track and field team. She is the daughter of Jay and Mary Thompson.
