What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I enjoy being a part of a great team at a school with strong academics and competing in a competitive conference.

Other Sports: McElroy was a four-year member of the St. Kate's cross country team. Her time of 24:01 at the 2014 MIAC Championships is the ninth-fastest time in school history. She has also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.
High School: McElroy ran cross country and track and field at Champlin Park High School. She was a captain senior year and earned all-conference honorable mention honors. She was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman and earned a varsity letter all four seasons in cross country as well as a two year varsity letter winner in track. McElroy was a member of the National Honor Society, played softball, and played the clarinet in the school band.
Personal: McElroy is a history major with a minor in business administration and a dean's list student. She also works with sports information in the athletics department. McElroy is the daughter of Judy and Mark McElroy.
