I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: I get to continue participating in a sport I love on a team of strong women. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I enjoy being a part of a great team at a school with strong academics and competing in a competitive conference.

2014: As a senior, McElroy ran a PR time of 24:01 at the MIAC Championship. Her time was 41st overall and was the second-best by a Wildcat finisher. She finished her career ranked No. 9 all-time at St. Kate's. McElroy also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2013: As a junior, McElroy continued to set new PR times throughout the season. She finished the season ranked No. 9 all-time at St. Kate's when she ran 24:21 at the MIAC Championships. Her time was 61st overall and was the third-best by a Wildcat finisher. McElroy also earned Academic All-MIAC honors. 

2012: McElroy showed continual improvement throughout her sophomore season as a Wildcat. She had multiple PRs and finished the 2012 season at No. 19 all-time at St. Catherine with a time of 24:55 that she set at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational. She was also the sixth finisher for the Wildcats at the MIAC Championships. McElroy also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.  

2011:  In her first season as a Wildcat, McElroy earned the cross country team's most improved award. She ran an outstanding meet at the MIAC Championships. Her PR time of 25:11 put her at No. 18 all-time at St. Catherine at the end of the 2011 season. 

High School:  McElroy ran cross country and track and field at Champlin Park High School.  She was a captain senior year and earned all-conference honorable mention honors.  She was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman and earned a varsity letter all four seasons in cross country. McElroy was a member of the National Honor Society, played softball, and played the clarinet in the school band. 

Personal: McElroy is a history major with a minor in business administration and a dean's list student. She also works with sports information in the athletics department and is a member of the track and field team. McElroy is the daughter of Judy and Mark McElroy.
