PRESCOTT, Wis. — The St. Catherine University cross country team opened competition Friday at the River Town Invite, placing sixth in the women's 6K at Prescott High School.

The Wildcats finished with 131 team points, led by sophomore Eleanor Lindeman, who turned in a top-10 performance with a sixth-place finish in 24:33.1. Lindeman was St. Catherine's top runner throughout the race, crossing the 3.42K mark in 13:24.9 before finishing the 6K course in 24:33.1.

Sophomore Lydia Feldhahn was the next Wildcat across the line, placing 25th overall in 26:49.9. Senior Kaitlyn Peterson followed in 38th with a time of 28:24.5.

The Wildcats' scoring five was rounded out by juniors Mist Sit and Lauren Kennedy, who finished back-to-back. Sit crossed in 30:20.4 to place 52nd overall, while Kennedy was just behind in 30:21.3 for 53rd.

Senior Felicity Lamb finished 57th in 31:47.5, while sophomore Alecia Weber placed 60th in 32:38.9. First-year Isabelle Landgraf completed the Wildcat lineup, finishing 69th with a time of 34:51.3.

Minnesota Duluth won the team title with 28 points, followed by Carleton with 51 and Wisconsin-River Falls with 70. St. Catherine finished sixth with 131 points.
