MENOMONIE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 5-1 victory over non-conference foe, the University of Wisconsin-Stout, on the road.

Ashley Fugitt scored her fourth goal of the season assisted by senior
Ayah Makled in the 15th minute of play.

Bella Meier scored her first goal as a Wildcat giving the team a 2-0 advantage in the 29th minute. Meiers goal was assisted by sophomore
Emily Olson, tallying her first point of the season.
Olson's first point was followed by her first goal of 2025 giving the team a 3-0 lead coming out of the half. Rookie
Ceci Emery earned her first collegiate goal in the 67th minute unassisted and Jaidyn Ricther notched goal five. Ricthers first goal of the season was off a pass from sophomore
Lillia Gray for her first assist of 2025.
The Blue Devils were able to cut the shutout in the 88th minute for a 5-1 final.
Fugitt added three shots on goal in 53 minutes on the pitch while Richter and Meier each recorded two.
Brianna Valdez appeared in goal for 77 minutes of play making one save as
Maggie Mueller made her collegiate debut making three saves and allowing one goal.
St. Kate's is home on Saturday, September 6 with a 1 pm non-conference match against Wisconsin-River Falls and again on Monday, September 8 hosting Emory University at 1 pm.
