ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Catherine University head hockey coach,
Kayla Chilstrom, announced the addition of Jamie Shepard to the Wildcat staff for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Shepard comes to St. Kate's from the youth and high school side of coaching.
"Jamie is going to be a great fit for our team culture" said Chilstrom. "She brings a high hockey IQ, a strong understanding of player development, and a true passion for the game. Her experience and energy will be a great asset both on and off the ice. I'm looking forward to the impact she'll have as we continue to grow as a team."
Shepard brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Wildcat staff finishing the 2024-25 season serving as the Varsity Assistant and Head JV Coach for South St. Paul High School Girls Hockey. In addition to high school coaching, Shepard is a respected leader in the Tier 1 Minnesota Hockey League and the Minnesota High Performance programs, where she has served as both a head coach and evaluator for top-level talent since 2015.
Beyond the rink, Shepard works in South St. Paul Public Schools as a MARRS and Enrollment Coordinator, where she supports students and families through the district.
