ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine swim & dive team delivered another solid night of racing at the WildBear Invite, holding firm in second place with 548 points heading into the final day. 
 
The Wildcats opened the night with four entries in the 200 Free Relay, highlighted by the A relay of Olivia Weil, Jordyn Grotbo, Ella Hochstetler and Nicolette Harvey placing sixth at 1:42.21. 

Senior leadership showed up again in the 400 IM, where Weil earned runner-up honors in 4:45.37, followed by top-eight finishes from Natalie Chandler (5th, 5:06.08) and Sierra Hermansen (8th, 5:16.21).

In the 200 Free, Grotbo led the way with a sixth-place finish (2:01.26), while Hochstetler and Harvey added additional scoring performances. Weil went back-to-back with another podium result in the 100 Breaststroke, placing third in 1:08.17, and Hochstetler added a fourth-place finish in the 100 Backstroke at 1:01.10.

The Wildcats also scored multiple swimmers in the 200 Butterfly, led by first-year Anna Sewich in sixth place with a time of 2:29.67.

On the boards, Juliet Peterson picked up a strong third-place finish in 3-meter diving with a score of 248.35 and the night closed with a sixth-place finish in the 400 Medley Relay (4:09.98)
 
St. Kate's returns to action Saturday with preliminary trials starting at 9:30 am with 1-meter diving at 12:30 pm. All finals are scheduled to start at 4:30 pm.
