Wildcats season ends in NCAA First Round

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The St. Catherine University soccer team concluded their historic season in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship falling to tournament host, Loras College 3-0. The Wildcats finished the season with an overall 14-3-4 record. 

All three of the Duhawks goals were scored in the first half and by the same person. Their first goal came in the 12th minute unassisted followed by another in the 15th minute. The third and final goal of the contest was scored in the 35th minute as Loras sealed the win. 

Fifth-year goalkeeper Kate Praetz made two saves in the game as graduate student Ari Green had one shot on goal and rookie Jaidyn Richter tallied the Wildcats' other.
