SAINT PETER, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team picked up their fourth tie of the season playing to a 3-3 draw at Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday afternoon. St. Kate's is now 7-2-4 overall with an MIAC record of 4-0-3.
The Wildcats tallied their first goal at 15:10 with
Natalie Pfleger adding her sixth of the season with help from
Kallie Tuominen. The Wildcats struck again in the 34th minute with sophomore
Ayah Makled giving the Wildcats a two-goal advantage off a pass from
Claire Cater.
St. Kate's took the 3-0 lead a minute into the second half as
Ari Green added her eighth of the season with the assist credited to Tuominen.
The Gusties caught the Wildcats on their heels scoring their first in the 51st minute, their second ten minutes later, and then one more in the 74th minute to knot the contest.
St. Kate's posted 20 shots in the contest with nine on goal as
Kate Praetz made two saves in the game.
The Wildcats are on the road again Saturday facing Macalester College at 5:30 pm. St. Kate's returns home on Wednesday, October 23 hosting Hamline University at 3:30 pm.
