Maren Schoeberl scored her first collegiate goal off a pass from
Ari Green to open scoring in the first five minutes of play. St. Kate's scored again to to go into the half 2-0 with sophomore
Briana Henaman getting her first goal of the season.
Henaman added her second goal of contest in the 53rd minute with rookies
Ayah Makled and
Ali Owens feeding Henaman a perfect opportunity and their first collegiate points.
St. Kate's fourth goal went to first-year
Katie McGrath for her first of her career and Malloy Johnson scored the final goal off a free kick in the 75th minute.
Praetz made seven saves in the game while Henaman led the shot count for the Wildcats with seven total and three on goal.
The Wildcats are on the road Tuesday as they travel to Loras College for a 5 pm contest. They return to St. Paul on Saturday, September 23 hosting Augsburg University at 1 pm.
