NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team fell in overtime to the St. Olaf Collge Oles on Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats earn one point in the conference standings to remain in fifth place with a MIAC record of 5-7-2 and four regular season games remaining.
The first-year duo of
Paige Loidolt and
Raechel Painovich put the Wildcats in the lead first again in game two of the series with Loidolt finding the back of the net in the first ten minutes of the opening period. Loidolt's tenth goal of her rookie season puts her tied with senior

Marie Reimer.
St. Kate's maintained the lead until the Oles tied the contest at 6:53 in the second before taking the one goal lead at 11:57 in the third.
Reimer added her 12th goal of her senior season to tied the score while on a power play opportunity with under four minutes to play from
Kaitlyn Blair and Denchfield.
The game ended nearly the same as the night before but this time in favor of the Oles scoring the game-winner just 40 seconds into the 3 on 3 overtime.
