Bree Glynn and sophomore
Greta Schimnowski are the first-ever from the program to earn the honor and are among 28 others from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) selected for 2022.
The Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All‐District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America® ballot. First‐, second and third‐team Academic All‐ America® honorees will be announced in late December.
Glynn is currently in her first year in the St. Catherine Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program having studying Exercise and Sport Science as an undergraduate. Glynn was a three-year captain for the Wildcats earning MIAC Academic All-Conference in her sophomore and junior years, is a 7x Deans List Honoree and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma. Glynn's final season in the purple and gold was her best scoring a career best 197 points with 149 rebounds.
Schinowski is a nursing major in her second year with the Wildcats appearing in and starting every game this season. Schimnowski tallied 168 points, knocking down 35 three-pointers with 69 rebounds. She is a 3x Deans List selection and also a member of WSAAC carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA.
