MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team collected their first draw of the 2023 season recording a 1-1 result against the Concordia College Cobbers on Saturday. The conference match-up played in Moorhead puts the Wildcats at 13-3-1 on the season with a conference showing of 8-1-1. St. Catherine has one regular season conference game remaining on the schedule as they host Bethel next Saturday. 

The first half of play was even on both sides of the pitch in the first 36 minutes of play until the the Cobbers struck first taking a 1-0 lead. St. Kate's wasted no time though knotting the game at 1-1 as sophomore midfielder Natalie Pfleger scored her second of the season. Pflger's goal was assisted by senior Ari Green and fifth-year Amanda Elton. 

Senior Kate Praetz made four saves in the game while Pfleger, Elton and rookie Ayah Makled each had one shot on goal. 

The Wildcats host the Bethel Royals on Saturday, October 28 for Senior Day at St. Kate's Field with kickoff scheduled for 1 pm.
