MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The St. Catherine tennis team won a battle against the St. Olaf College Oles on Friday evening taking the conference win 6-3 to extend to 8-2 overall and a MIAC record of 5-1.
Junior
Kelsey Dorr defeated Olga Zubarieva 7-6, 5-3 at No. 1 singles and claimed a 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles with partner
Sofia Walker. Walker won a battle at No. 2 singles going 6-0, 3-6, 14-12 playing the No. 2 doubles player, Christiana Cholakis.
The Wildcats' No. 3 singles match was won by
Bri Dorr 6-4, 6-1 and the No. 6 match was claimed by
Monica Zink 6-1, 6-2. B. Dorr and Zink won at No. 2 doubles with a 8-5 defeat of the Oles.

Reilee Schepper were defeated in both singles and doubles playing together at No. 3. Joly fell to Fiona O'Flaherty 6-3, 6-2 and Schepper fell to Teresa Fawcett, 6-4, 7-5. The pair also dropped a close doubles match falling 8-6.
St. Kate's will appear at Bethel University on Thursday April 21 before traveling to the College of Saint Benedict on Friday, April 22.
