ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University basketball team announced the addition of Geno Bullard to the coaching staff as a full-time assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. Bullard comes to St. Catherine after spending time coaching at the junior college level in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to his time at Coastal Bend College, Bullard spent time coaching at the high school level and running international basketball camps.

Don Mulhern commented, "We are extremely excited to welcome Geno to our St. Kate's basketball family. Geno has a great background that is going to enrich our team and the community as a whole. He played basketball at a high level internationally and has a wealth of experience playing and coaching. His background and ability to connect with our student athlete's is exciting. In addition, he went to college in Minnesota and is familiar with the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest. His international experience has helped him cultivate many positive relationships in the basketball community. More importantly, he is a warm and sincere person and has the great ability to connect with the players, especially with his skill development. We warmly welcome him to the Wildcat program."
Born and raised in the Bahamas, Bullard moved to Ontario, Canada to play basketball at Ridley College Preparatory where he was ranked as the No. 32 player in the country in 2012. After graduation, Bullard was recruited to play Division II basketball at Minnesota State University-Mankato where he also was an All-American track and field student-athlete. Bullard graduated from Mankato in 2018 with a degree in Business Marketing before being hired as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team for the 2018-19 season. He then transitioned over to the men's basketball program finishing out his masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2020.
Bullard's background includes coaching a wide-range of ages, talents, and has coached in multiple different countries. Additionally, Bullard was selected to play on the Bahamas National Team in Argentina and in Mexico.
In addition to adding Bullard to the coaching staff, Mulhern also welcomes part-time assistant coach,
Ben Fleming.
