ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine soccer team traveled to Macalester College on Saturday for a exhibition game against the conference foes. The Wildcats claimed the victory with a 2-0 shutout over the Scots after 500-plus days without competition. 

Junior Lauren Witte put St. Kate's on the board first with an assist from rookie Caralyn Conners. The Wildcats second goal came from senior Rachael Holm with help from first-year Taylor Dixon. 

St. Catherine opens the conference season on Sunday, April 11 traveling to Concordia College for a 1:30 pm game against the Cobbers. The Wildcats are home on Sunday, April 18 with a 1 pm game against the University of St. Thomas.
