Wildcats snag 23-point victory over St. Scholastica

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Bree Glynn and Sam Orth helped St. Catherine basketball to a commanding 75-52 victory over the College of St. Scholastica improving to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.

Orth tallied 13 points with four boards in just ten minutes on the floor as Glynn also contributed 13 points both shooting 6 for 9 on the night. Karis Zezza, Sydney Elliot and Greta Schimnowski all put up nine points off the bench. Sarah Lavell and Nicole Dallman led the Wildcats defensively each grabbing six rebounds.

St. Kate's was out to an early 20 point lead after the first ten minutes of play before the Saints posted their best quarter adding 18 points going into the half. The Wildcats scored 19 points in the third creating a 28 point deficit for the Saints. The visitors were able to inch back outscoring St. Kate's 13 to 11 but couldn't overcome the edge the purple and gold held.

The Wildcats are off until December 4 when they host Bethel University at 1 pm inside of Butler Center
