ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The Wildcats took care of business in St. Bonifacius for their last non-conference matchup of the season, beating Crown College in straight sets.
St. Kate's won the first set in dominant fashion, 25-11. They followed it with wins of 25-14 and 25-19 in sets two and three. First-year Allison Marso and sophomore Bryana Leverentz each had seven kills for the Wildcats, while first-year Abbi Harker led the squad with nine digs. Yet another first-year, Marissa Gilbertson, continued her strong rookie year with fourteen assists. The Wildcats also had the advantage in every statistical category, continuing their impressive start to the season.
St. Kate's travels to St. Peter to face Gustavus on October 2nd to kick off the remainder of their conference schedule.
