ST. PETER, Minn. - The St. Catherine University hockey team fell to conference foe the Gustavus Adolphus College Gusties on Friday at the Lund Center 2-0.
The Wildcats put the pressure on the Gusties in the first period as senior forward
Laken Muller had four shots for a team total of 7 in the first 20 minutes.
The Gusties came out of the intermission with a little more strength putting up 13 shots on first-year goalie
Elizabeth Kubicek. Kubicek allowed one goal in the second period while the Gusties were on the power play.
Gustavus' final goal of the game right away in the third period. St. Catherine was unable to get back the momentum they held over the Gusties in the first period and make up the 2 goal deficit.
St. Catherine hosts the Gusties at Drake Arena Saturday at 5 p.m.
