ST. PAUL, Minn. - After just one day off, St. Catherine University volleyball returns to competition Wednesday at Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opponent Augsburg University in Minneapolis at 7 p.m. Since snapping the three match losing streak Monday with a sweep of Martin Luther College 3-0, St. Kate's advances to 7-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play. 

The Auggies from just across the Mississippi River, are 13-2 and 2-1 against conference opponents sitting in fifth place. Augsburg has also been on a hot streak winning their last 5 matches and the last 14 sets in a row. The last time these two teams met was in 2017 in St. Paul with the Wildcats falling to the Auggies in three. The last time the Wildcats took down Augsburg was on September 26, 2012 in the Butler Center.
