ST. PAUL, Minn. - The women's soccer teams of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) open competition on Tuesday. Per the conference scheduling matrix the Wildcats are set to take on 2017 MIAC regular season champion, the Auggies from Augsburg University at home at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The last time the Auggies were on the campus of St. Catherine University was when the now seniors were just first-years in 2015 with the Wildcats winning 2-0.

The other win added to their record against Augsburg came in their junior season... during the quarterfinals of the conference playoffs...where the Auggies were the #1 seed and the Wildcats were #5. Then sophomore forward
Allie Bird (Maple Grove, Minn.) scored the game winner and lone goal of the game just 11 minutes into the first half.
