ST. PAUL, MINN. – The St. Catherine University volleyball team has been right on the cusp of winning its first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) match of the season for weeks. Each week, the Wildcats continue to improve on the court but have been unable to close out the win against conference opponents.
On Wednesday, St. Kate's looks to turn the tides in its 7 p.m. match against Concordia-Morehead. Last season, the Wildcats lost to the Cobbers at home in heartbreaking fashion. After dropping the first set 25-18, St. Kate's roared back to win the second 25-22, lost the third by the same score, and then won the fourth 27-25 to force a fifth set. Unfortunately, the Wildcats were unable to complete the comeback, falling 15-8 in the final set.
This year, the Wildcats will travel to Concordia, where
live stats and
video will be available to view during the match. Score updates will also be made on St. Kate's Twitter account (@stkateswildcats).
