Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 After suffering two tough Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) losses to Saint Mary's University Friday afternoon, the end of the week wasn't going to get easier for the St. Catherine University softball team as they were scheduled to face No. 19 University of St. Thomas less than 24 hours later. And unfortunately, the Wildcats couldn't find a way to get their offense going against the Tommies in suffereng 10-2 and 8-0 losses in five innings each Saturday in St. Paul. 

In the opening game, Alyssa Luedtke (Spring Lake Park, Minn.) led the Wildcats at the plate going 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the top of the fifth. Raven Baker (Minneapolis, Minn.) also picked up an RBI single to help the Wildcats bring in their two runs of the game during the final inning. 

Alyssa McKee (Spring Lake Park, Minn.) had the Wildcats' only hit in the game two shutout. The senior also walked in the first game so allow pinch runner Felicia Hamman (Columbia Heights, Minn.). Erin Fitzpatrick (White Bear Lake, Minn.) also scored for the Wildcats in the opener. 

With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 7-19 overall and 5-9 in the MIAC. The Wildcats return to their home field for a MIAC doubleheader Tuesday against Gustavus College at 3:30 p.m.
