After Carleton took the lead 7-6 in the sixth, the Wildcats would add the tying run in the bottom of the inning. St. Kate's would then hold Carleton scoreless in the top of the seventh setting themselves up for another seventh inning victory.
Larrissa Karl started off the seventh with a double.
Desiree O'Connell would pinch-run for Karl and with two outs and O'Connell on third after a sacrifice bunt,
Alyssa McKee finished the game with a RBI single.
Alyssa Luedtke led the way for the Wildcats offensively in the first game, going 3-4 with two runs, a stolen base, and a RBI.
The second game did not start well for the home team, giving up seven runs in the first two innings and having to claw their way back into the game. Going into the last inning, with the score knotted at seven, Carleton would add three more runs to put the game out of reach for the Wildcats.
