The Wildcats traveled to Moorhead Wednesday evening to face the Cobbers in a MIAC game. Concordia showed why they are currently ranked third in the conference and shot out to a commanding lead. Shooting nearly 50% from the field to St. Kate's 20%, in the first half, the Cobbers didn't let up until the buzzer sounded at half-time with the score 36-13.
The second half showed the Cobbers cooling off a bit with their shooting, down to just under 37%, while the Wildcats improved to 32%. St. Kate's held their own on the glass, pulling down 38 rebounds in the game. They also notched five blocks, three by
Adele Simerson-Wallfred.
The Wildcats play again Saturday afternoon at the
Butler Center when they host cross-town rival, Hamline University at 3:00 p.m.
