The Wildcats faced always tough opponent St. Thomas on Saturday, hanging tough in the first half to go into halftime tied 0-0. St. Thomas got their offense going in the second half, eventually winning the game 5-0. The Tommies moved to 4-1 on the season (2-0 MIAC) while the Wildcats fell to 1-7 (0-2 MIAC).

Abbey Hinton stymied the Tommies attack in the first half, turning away six shots to head into halftime with a 0-0 tie. The Tommies got rolling shortly after halftime though, with Stephanie McCarten scoring a goal seven minutes into the half. Jaclyn Glaser quickly made it 2-0 with a goal less than a minute later, and Katy Scherer made it 3-0 several minutes later. The margin stayed at 3-0 for most of the half, before the Tommies put in two goals in the final minute to provide the final margin of victory.
The Wildcats look to get their offense back on track against St. Olaf next Saturday at 11:00 AM.
