The Wildcats posted a pair of wins on a senior day at the ballpark against Northwestern College.

Senior starting pitcher Kayla Bergerson ended her career in fine form Wednesday night, pitching a complete game, 3-2 win.  She struck out 5, including striking out three in the sixth inning, while scattering 8 hits in the game.

In the first game, the Eagles were the first on the board, scoring one run in the second and one in the third for a 2-0 lead. The Wildcats scored all three of their runs in the third inning.

The second game started with a bang. St. Kate's scored three in the first and four more in the third, jumping to a 7-0 lead. Northwestern plated one in the fifth inning on a solo homerun. SCU quickly answered in the bottom of the inning when Regan Kreichbaum hustled home on a misthrown ball to third, scoring the final run of the 8-1 victory.
