Shae Elliott
Despite getting a home run from Shae Elliott in each game of the doubleheader vs. the University of Wisconsin Stout, the Wildcats softball team lost by scores of 5-1 and 15-7.

The first game started off well. After the first three innings the score was 1-0 Wildcats. The fourth inning is when Stout did it's damage, scoring four runs on five hits and an error. The Bluedevils went on to add one in the fifth, to close out the scoring for the game.

The second game started out with a bang. Stout scored four in the top of the first and St. Kate's quickly answered. The Wildcats made it a one run game thanks to a two-run single by Kayla Bergerson and Elliott's second homer of the day.

The offenses continued to produce as Stout added two more in the second. St. Kate's would again answer in the bottom of the third, scoring three runs on three hits to tie the game 6-6. Both teams would score again in the fourth inning. Then, with the Stout leading 8-7, the Bluedevils would added three more in the fifth and four more in the sixth to push the final score to 15-7.
