Megan Ahlbrecht added her name to Wildcat history, scoring her 1,000th career kill midway through the match.
Ahlbrecht reached the milestone midway through the second game, hitting a ball down the line out of the reach of Bethel players. She ended the game with 13 kills overall, for a career total of 1,004. Ahlbrecht's mark came during a hot streak for the Wildcats, as they responded to a loss in the first set by raising the tempo of play for the remainder of the match. Bethel outplayed the Wildcats during the first set, but for the remainder of the games the Wildcats were quicker to loose balls and more aggressive on attack.
Callie Teigen put an exclamation point on the win with a kill down the line to score the final point of the game.
St. Kate's won the match by a score of 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.
Nicole Neumann had 35 digs to lead the Wildcats defensively. The Wildcats are now 5-17 on the season and 2-3 in MIAC play. Bethel fell to 9-12 overall, 1-4 in MIAC play.
