The Wildcats came out on the wrong end of a three set match at St. Ben's on Wednesday evening. The final score was reminiscent of the Wildcats recent win over Gustavus, except this time the Wildcats were on the losing end of the 25-15, 25-19, 30-28 match. The Wildcats are now 3-4 in MIAC play. St. Ben's is 5-2 in the MIAC.
After dropping the first set, the Wildcats kept close to the Blazers in the second set, but were unable to string together enough points to pull ahead of St. Ben's. The Wildcats knew they could be right back in the match with a third set victory, and appeared poised to win the set, but the Blazers rallied to close out the match.
