#Allison Witt# has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after her strong performances for the swimming and diving team at the Grinnell Invite this past weekend.

Witt set a new personal best in the 400 IM with a time of 4:58.56. She also had a season best time in the 200 IM (2:17.64). In addition to those strong performances, Witt also finished in the top 20 in the 200 Breaststroke (2:39.98) and 50 Free (26.39).

Along with her individual efforts, Witt swam key legs on three of the Wildcats relay teams. All three of the relays had top ten finishes (200 Free Relay-4th, 400 Free Relay-4th, 400 Medley Relay-6th).

Witt's efforts helped propel the Wildcats swimming and diving team to a 5th place finish in the 12 team meet.
