Laura Kalbfell has been named Wildcat Athlete of the week after averaging 21.7 points a game last week.

Kalbfell started the week out strong by recording a double-double. She grabbed 11 rebounds and scored 22 points leading SCU to a 69-49 victory over Bethel University.

Her outstanding week continued as she added 20 points and 9 rebounds against St. Thomas in a hard fought 69-60 SCU loss.

Kalbfell closed out the week by scoring 23 points and grabbing 6 rebounds as the Wildcats recorded another conference win, defeating St. Mary’s 67-57.

Kalbfell now leads the MIAC with a season average of 17.6 points per game.
