Bridget Perkins has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after helping the St. Kate’s swimming and diving team record a number of season best times at this past weekend’s Falcon Invitational.

On day one of the meet Perkins brought home the team highest finish of the day with a fourth place finish in the 100 fly. Her time of 1:01.16, is now also the fastest 100 fly time recorded in the MIAC so far this season. Her successful day didn’t stop there, as she brought in her season best time in the 50 free as well.

Perkin’s continued her outstanding performance on day two as she swam two more season bests. This time it was in the 100 free and as a member of the Wildcats 400 free relay.

The wildcats next competition is in Costa Rica during their training trip. They return to competition back at home on 1/22-23/2010 for the St. Kate’s Invitational.
